
Wranglers Welcome Back Aki Seitsonen From Flames

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the team has received center Aki Seitsonen from the American Hockey League's Quad City Flames. In a separate transaction, Las Vegas trades center Matt Beaudoin to the Dayton Bombers for future considerations. Las Vegas also placed defenseman Sean Owens on the three-day injured reserve and activated defenseman Tyson Strachan from the three-day injured reserve list.
Seitsonen returns to Las Vegas where he played the bulk of his rookie season in 2006-07. The 21-year old set career highs last year, scoring 14 goals and adding 18 assists for 32 points in 59 games played with the Wranglers. Seitsonen attended training camp with the NHL's Calgary Flames and with the AHL's Quad City Flames. Seitsonen has yet to play in a game this season after sitting out Quad City's first five games. The Finnish native was drafted in the fourth round (#118 overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by Calgary.
Beaudoin registered an assist in the only game he played with Las Vegas this season. The rookie center played the last four seasons at Ohio State University, scoring 52 goals and assisting on 37 others for 89 points in 149 NCAA games.
The Wranglers host Stockton on Tuesday, October 23rd at 7:05 pm. The team will travel to Victoria for games on Friday and Saturday, then return home on Friday, November 2nd.

The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue. Las Vegas will host Opening Night on Sunday, October 21st at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena.
