Mississippi Sea Wolves News Release
Biloxi, MS - The Mississippi Sea Wolves visited the Florida Everblades for a pair of games this weekend, losing the season opener 6-1 on Friday and dropping a 4-1 decision on Saturday.
THIS WEEK:
October 27, Sea Wolves Vs. Reading Royals, 7:05 p.m.; October 28, Sea Wolves Vs. Pensacola Ice Pilots, 5:05 p.m.
The Sea Wolves open the 2007-08 home schedule against the Reading Royals on October 27, marking the Sea Wolves' first home game at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum since April 8, 2005. Mississippi has hosted Reading on two previous occasions, losing 5-2 on December 28, 2004, and winning 5-3 on December 31, 2004.
Pensacola comes to visit the Wolves' Den on Sunday evening for the first of 12 meetings this season. Mississippi holds a 49-27-6 all-time record against Pensacola, and a 27-11-4 record against the Ice Pilots at home. The two teams last faced off in the final regular season home game of the 2004-05 season, with Pensacola winning 5-4 in a shootout.
