Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers beat the 6-0 Bakersfield Condors Thursday night in front of 3,744 fans at the Orleans Arena. Wranglers' rookie Chris Stanley scored two goals and two assists. Las Vegas goalie Sebastien Centomo turned away all 49 shots that he faced. Rookie Dana Lattery, wingers Dan Tudin and Jason Spence, Captain Jason McBain all tallied a goal and an assist in the win. Same two teams will meet at the Orleans Arena on Friday night at 7:05 pm.
Stanley scored the first two goals of the game for the Wranglers giving them a 2-0 advantage. The first goal came just 2:29 into the game, with the second following at 15:57 on the power play in the first period.
Dan Tudin got the Wranglers third goal of the game just 4:37 into the second period to extend the lead to 3-0. Las Vegas Captain Jason McBain followed with his fifth goal of the season on the power play, exactly four minutes later in the period to give the Wranglers a 4-0 advantage after two periods.
Rookie Dana Lattery scored his tenth goal of the season at 10:35 of the third period to make it 5-0. Winger Jason Spence scored the Wranglers sixth and final goal of the game with 5:28 left in the contest.
Friday night the Wranglers will hand out "The Duke" Calendars to the first 2,000 fans through the gate at the Orleans Arena.
