500 DAYS OF SUMMER
The Wolves win on Sunday moved the team back to the .500 mark (13-13-1-0) for the first time since Nov. 7; Chicago has notched victories in seven of its last nine outings after dropping seven straight contests from Nov. 6 to Nov. 17.
WOLVES HEADLINES
--- JASON KROG: Tallied six assists and eight points during a current five-game point-streak ... Ranks first on the Wolves and shares first in the AHL with 21 assists and leads the team and shares sixth in the league with 27 points in 27 games this season ... Collected 294 points (85G, 209A) in 229 games with the Wolves, spanning four seasons (2006-08; 2009 - present) and is four points shy of tying Bob Nardella for third on Chicago's all-time scoring list
--- DARREN HAYDAR: Dished out four assists in four games this week ... Paces the Wolves and shares 12th in the AHL with 11 goals and ranks second on the team and is tied for 10th in the league with 25 points in 27 games this season ... Ranks third on the team with 14 assists and shares second with four power-play goals
--- SPENCER MACHACEK: Registered 10 points (5G, 5A) in his last nine outings ... Ranks second on the Wolves and shares 18th in the AHL with 10 goals and ranks fourth on the team with 21 points in 27 games this season ... Ranks second on the team with a +6 plus/minus rating
--- PAUL POSTMA: Posted two points (G, A) in four games this week ... Leads Wolves defensemen and shares fourth overall on the team with 11 assists and paces team rear guards and ranks sixth on the squad with 14 points in 27 games ... His 14 points are tied for 15th among AHL blueliners
--- PATRICE CORMIER: Collected his first professional points (G, A) on Sunday after making his season debut on Nov. 30 ... Tallied two points (G, A) and a +2 rating in four games this season ... Made his professional debut in nine postseason games with the Wolves last year, notching eight penalty minutes, after being signed to an Amateur Tryout Contract on April 12, 2010
WOLF TRACKS
--- Despite Chicago being held scoreless on the power play on Sunday (zero of five), the team has bagged eight man-advantage markers in its last five games (eight of 25); the Wolves rank second in the league with a 23.4 conversion rate on the power play (29 of 124).
--- The Wolves 5-1 win over Toronto on Sunday was their largest margin of victory this season and the seventh time they have scored four or more goals in a game; Chicago has recorded a 6-1-0-0 mark when potting four or more markers in a contest this year.
--- Goaltender PETER MANNINO has accrued a 2.10 goals-against average and .923 save percentage in his last eight starts (7-1-0), which includes allowing just one goal in each of his last three wins; the 26-year-old netminder has posted a 3.13 goals-against average and .894 save percentage in 15 games overall this season (8-4-0).
--- Chicago bagged two short-handed strikes on Sunday, the first time the team has scored two shorties in a game since Nov. 13, 2009 at San Antonio; the Wolves share fourth in the AHL with five short-handed goals this season.
--- The Wolves have surrendered eight power-play goals in their last 10 games (38 of 46) after allowing 20 man-advantage markers in their previous 10 contests (32 of 52); Chicago ranks 30th in the AHL with a 73.3 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (96 of 131).
LOOK INTO THE FUTURE
--- The Wolves will host their fifth annual Future Journalists Media Day for high school students at the Hoffman Estates Community Center and Ice Arena during the team's practice on Tue., Dec. 7, at 9:00 a.m. Guest speakers for the event will include sports reporter and TV personality JILL CARLSON, the Chicago Tribune's Wolves beat writer PAUL LaTOUR, the Daily Herald's White Sox beat writer Scot Gregor and ESPN 1000 Radio host HARRY TEINOWITZ.

--- Goaltender PETER MANNINO stopped 21 of 22 shots in his fourth straight start

--- Left wing PATRICK RISSMILLER tallied four goals and five points to lead the Lake Erie Monsters past the Wolves, 6-3, at Quicken Loans Arena
--- Center RYAN GARBUTT and defensemen JAIME SIFERS and PAUL POSTMA scored for Chicago
--- Goaltender PETER MANNINO made 19 saves on 24 shots
Tue., Nov. 30
(at) Chicago 2, Manitoba 1 (SO)
--- The Wolves tied the game, 1-1, with 2:25 remaining in regulation before earning a 2-1 shootout victory over the Manitoba Moose at the Allstate Arena
--- Center JASON KROG scored to tie the game, while right wing DARREN HAYDAR was the only player to convert in the shootout
--- Goaltender PETER MANNINO stopped 25 shots in regulation and overtime and all five Moose attempts in the shootout
