Wild Reassigns Falk to Houston

HOUSTON --- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned defenseman Justin Falk to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Falk, 22 (10/11/88), has posted two assists while accruing six penalty minutes in 18 games with the Wild this season. The 6-foot-5, 217-pound native of Snowflake, Manitoba, averaged 14:51 time on ice (TOI) with Minnesota. Falk has registered one assist and two penalty minutes (PIM) in three games with the Aeros this season. He played three games with the Wild in 2009-10, while tallying nine points (3-6=9) in 69 games with the Aeros. Falk was originally selected by Minnesota in the fourth round (No. 110 overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

The Aeros travel to Oklahoma City for a matchup on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. with the Barons. The team returns home Friday, Dec. 10, to face the San Antonio Rampage in the annual Teddy Bear Toss game.
