B-Sens Team with Magic 101.7 for the 2010 Teddy Bear Toss

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators, in conjunction with Magic 101.7 have announced that they will host the annual "Teddy Bear Toss" at the B-Sens game versus the Rochester Americans on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 7:05 p.m.

Fans are asked to bring new teddy bears to the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena and toss them onto the ice immediately following the B-Sens' first goal scored in the game. The teddy bears collected benefit the Bears and Blankets program and will be distributed to disadvantaged children in the Binghamton community.

B-Sens forward Corey Locke, his fiancée Chantal Corriveau and forward Erik Condra will help deliver some of the bears to children in three local hospitals on Tuesday, Dec. 14.

In the days leading up to the game, Magic 101.7 will be collecting new teddy bears and blankets to benefit the Bears and Blankets program. For more information on the program or for a list of locations of the collection barrels visit www.magic1017fm.com .

In 2009, the B-Sens and Magic 101.7 were able to donate over 5,000 blankets and teddy bears to children in need in the Binghamton area.
