UPCOMING PROMOTIONS
-- Fans are encouraged to take part in the "Teddy Bear Toss" during the second intermission of Saturday's game. When instructed, fans can throw a new or slightly used Teddy Bear onto the ice. All stuffed animals will go to the American Red Cross, Albany P.A.L., the Boys and Girls Club and the Ronald McDonald House.
-- The Devils are offering a "Holiday Hat Trick"; for $45 fans get three flex tickets to redeem at any Devils' game at the Times Union Center. Additionally, the package comes with a limited edition Albany Devils hat and the first 100 bundles purchased will include a free lift ticket, compliments of Maple Ski Ridge.

Wednesday, Albany 1 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 5
Behind two goals and an assist by Dustin Jeffrey, the Penguins skated away from the Times Union Center with a 5-1 win. Albany's night was highlighted by Patrick Davis, who set the club record for career AHL points (111). After exchanging goals early, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton scored four straight, including three in the second period. Jeff Frazee made his first appearance in net since missing the previous two games. He stopped 18-of-19 shots in relief.
Friday, Albany 2 vs. Hershey 3
The Devils held two leads, but an early third period goal by Steve Pinizzotto helped the Bears to a 3-2 win. Nick Palmieri assisted both goals for Albany. David McIntyre scored first at 5:00 of the second. After Jay Beagle made it 1-1, Vladimir Zharkov scored at 8:36 of the second to give the Devils another lead. Hershey's push to take the lead included goals from Dimitri Kugryshev at 15:39 of the second and from Pinizzotto at 3:05 of the third.
Saturday, Albany 2 at Rochester 0
In two trips to Rochester's Blue Cross Arena his season, Albany has posted two shutouts, including a 2-0 victory Saturday evening. Jeff Frazee made 24 saves for his second shutout of the year and seventh of his career. Louis Robitaille scored the game winner with 3:36 remaining in the first period and Michael Swift and Nathan Perkovich posted the assists. Adam Henrique added an insurance, empty-net goal with 20 seconds remaining. Rob Davison had the helper.
Sunday, Albany 4 vs. Adirondack 2 (at Atlantic City)
Jeff Frazee out dueled Stanley Cup finalist goaltender Michael Leighton for a 4-2 win at Atlantic City. Frazee earned his second win in as many nights by making 26 saves. The Devils now own a 2-1 advantage in the 12-game Time Warner Cable Cup series. Nick Palmieri, Adam Henrique, Trevor Kell and Michael Swift all scored for the Devils. Leighton made 23 saves in the second game of this conditioning assignment.
NOTABLES:
-- For the week, Jeff Frazee went 2-1 with a shutout in four appearances. He began the week supplying nearly 35 minutes of relief and made 18 saves on 19 shots. He followed with a 29-save performance in a 3-2 setback against Hershey, but rebounded for back-to-back wins. He earned his second shutout of the season with 24 saves in a 2-0 win at Rochester and then made 26 stops in a 4-2 victory against Adirondack in Atlantic City.
-- Rookie Adam Henrique registered two goals in the last two games this weekend and is now second on the team with seven goals. Henrique, who is also tied for second with 13 points, is currently on a three-game scoring streak.
-- Nick Palmieri produced three points in four games during the week. He had a season-high two assists against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and scored against Adirondack. He has eight points on the year with five goals and three assists.
-- Goaltender Mike Brown and defenseman Andy Thomas will be returning to Trenton (ECHL). Albany released Brown from a PTO, while Thomas has been returned on loan.
-- The Devils have worn their red uniforms for 10 of the team's 11 wins. All of their wins on the road came while in red and the team wore the color at home for victories against Hartford and Binghamton.

Wednesday, Devils vs. Hershey (7:00 p.m.)
The Bears return to the Times Union Center after staking a 3-2 win last Friday. They followed with a 4-2 victory against Binghamton on Saturday and are now 14-9-0-1 and tied for third in the East Division. Andrew Gordon and Mathieu Perreault lead the team with 30 and 25 points, respectively. Gordon is tied for the league lead for points and goals (15). Perreault is tied for sixth in the AHL with 17 assists.
Friday, Devils at Binghamton (7:05 p.m.)
The Senators are currently without their leading goal scorer Bobby Butler, who was recalled to Ottawa on Sunday. Butler is tied for first in the league for goals (15) and he is in the top 20 for points (23). Binghamton is in fifth place ¬" one spot ahead of the Devils ¬" in the East Division with a 10-12-2-1 record. Corey Locke leads the team with 28 points, including 21 assists, which is tied for the league lead.
Saturday, Devils vs. Worcester (7:00 p.m.)
The Sharks have earned at least one point in seven of their last 10 games, going 5-3-0-2. For the season, the team is third in the Atlantic Division with a 12-7-1-4 record. One of Worcester's losses was a 3-2 shootout defeat against Albany on Nov. 5. Jonathan Cheechoo leads the team with 24 points, including eight goals and 16 assists. Alex Stalock has seen the majority of action in goal. In 21 games, he is 11-8-2 with a 2.75 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage.
Sunday, Devils vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (4:00 p.m. at Atlantic City)
The Penguins are riding a five-game winning streak and will play Toronto on Wednesday, and Norfolk Friday and Saturday before making an appearance at Boardwalk Hall. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 20-4-0-0 record is tops in the AHL and the team is 8-2-0-0 in its last 10 games. Dustin Jeffrey, who has four goals and four assists against the Devils this season, is tied for first in the league with 30 points. He has a team-high 13 goals and 17 assists.
