THAT'S A WRAP

Sunday's loss to Milwaukee knocked Chicago out of playoff contention, marking just the second time in franchise history the club will not see postseason action; the Wolves sit in seventh place in the West Division with 77 points (36-36-3-2) through 77 games.

WOLVES HEADLINES

--- BRETT STERLING: Tallied his 17th marker of the season on Sunday and has posted four points (G, 3A) in his last six games ... Shares third on Chicago with 17 goals and third with 35 points despite appearing in just 49 of the team's 77 outings this year ... Tied for first on the team with three game-winning tallies and shares fourth with six power-play strikes

--- JOE MOTZKO: Posted two points (G, A) and recorded his second multiple-point outing in the last four games on Sunday ... Ranks first on the team and 19th in the AHL with 27 goals in 70 games this season ... Paces the Wolves with 53 points and ranks second with 11 power-play markers ... Appeared in six NHL games with Atlanta, notching one goal

--- MATT ANDERSON: Potted his 13th goal of the season on Friday and has tallied three goals in the last six games ... Shares second among team rookies and sixth on the club with 13 tallies and is tied for eighth on the team with 28 points in 64 outings this year ... Shares first on the team with a +17 plus/minus rating

--- BRENT KRAHN: Turned aside 21 of 24 shots in his first start since March 7 on Sunday ... Posted a 4-5-0 record with a 2.36 goals-against average and .908 save percentage with the Wolves this season ... Made his NHL debut in 20 minutes of action with the Dallas Stars, stopping six of nine shots on Feb. 14.

--- SPENCER MACHACEK: Held scoreless in three games in April after leading the team with 12 points (5G, 7A) in 12 outings in March, which includes posting nine points (4G, 5A) during a six-game point streak from March 13 to March 28... Ranks second on the Wolves and is tied for third among league rookies with 23 markers in 74 matchups this year ... Ranks second on Chicago and shares 11th among league rookies with 47 points and leads the team ranks first among AHL first year pros with 13 power-play markers

WOLF TRACKS

--- Friday's game against Quad City was just the 10th time this season the Wolves have lost a game when holding their opponents to two or fewer tallies (27-7-2-1).

--- Sunday's 3-2 decision marked the 30th game in 56 outings against West Division opponents that has been decided by a one-goal margin (14-13-2-1); overall Chicago has notched a .491 winning percentage against West Division foes this year (26-27-2-1).

--- The Wolves thwarted all four of Milwaukee's power-play attempts on Sunday, the 29th time this season the Wolves have been perfect on the penalty kill; Chicago has posted a 17-8-2-2 mark when blanking the opposition on the man-advantage and holds 21st in the league with an 82.0 percent efficiency rating on the penalty kill (318 of 388).

--- Right wing JOE MOTZKO and left wing BRETT STERLING's goals in the third period on Sunday were the first markers scored by the Wolves in the final 20 minutes in six outings.

--- The Wolves have not scored a power-play goal in the last three contests (zero for 24) after potting at least one man-advantage strike in their previous seven games (11 of 46); Chicago ranks 26th in the league with a 14.8 percent efficiency rating on the man-advantage (64 of 433).

--- The Wolves tallied twice in the third period but couldn't find the equalizer, eventually dropping a 3-2 decision to the Milwaukee Admirals at the Bradley Center Sunday night
--- Right wing JOE MOTZKO and left wing BRETT STERLING potted goals for Chicago
--- Goaltenders BRENT KRAHN (21 of 24) and DAN TURPLE (one of one) each saw time between the pipes

--- The Wolves fell into a 2-0 hole and couldn't climb out, suffering an eventual 2-1 loss to the Quad City Flames at the I Wireless Center Friday night.
--- Center MATT ANDERSON tallied Chicago's lone goal
--- Goaltender ONDREJ PAVELEC thwarted 40 of 42 shots

--- Peoria Rivermen goaltender MANNY LEGACE turned aside all 30 Wolves shots to help his club to a 3-0 victory over Chicago at Carver Arena Wednesday night
