AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Peoria Rivermen right wing Eric Neilson has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions during an AHL game at Quad City on Apr. 4.

Neilson received an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 47.10 for accumulating his third instigating misconduct this season.

Neilson will miss Peoria's game Wednesday (Apr. 8) vs. Milwaukee.
