Forward Greg Scott Reassigned to Marlies

Jeff Jackson, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that forward Greg Scott has been reassigned to the Toronto Marlies.

Scott, 20, played in 65 games this season with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League, collecting 32 goals and 44 assists for 76 points. He ranked first on the Thunderbirds in goals, assists and points. The Victoria, B.C. native also skated in five playoff contests for Seattle, totaling six assists and two penalty minutes.

The 6'0, 188-pound left wing has appeared in 278 career games from 2005-09 with the Thunderbirds, posting 96 goals and 109 assists for 205 points.

The Marlies play their final three games of the 2008-09 regular season at Ricoh Coliseum, beginning on Wednesday night when they play the Rochester Americans - AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers - at 7:00 p.m. Toronto hosts the Manitoba Moose - AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks - on Friday night at 7 p.m. The Marlies play their regular season finale against their QEW rival, the Hamilton Bulldogs - AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens - on Saturday evening at 5:00 p.m. at Ricoh Coliseum.
