Wolves Tinker with Blue Line

The Chicago Wolves have signed defenseman TIM WEDDERBURN to a Standard Player Contract (SPC) and recalled defenseman JEFF DWYER from the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL. In addition, the team has released defenseman RYAN VAN BUSKIRK.

WEDDERBURN, who was signed to a 25-game tryout contract by the Wolves on Nov. 19, has registered two assists, 27 penalty minutes and +6 plus/minus rating in 23 games with Chicago.

DWYER accrued five penalty minutes in two games with Gwinnett after being assigned on Dec. 30. The Greenwich, Conn., native has notched two assists, four penalty minutes and a +2 plus/minus rating in seven games with the Wolves during his rookie season.

VAN BUSKIRK recorded one assist and four penalty minutes in four games.
