Wolf Pack Sign Forward Adam Chapie to ATO

HARTFORD: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has signed forward Adam Chapie to an Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement.

Chapie, who agreed to terms on an NHL free agent contract with the parent New York Rangers yesterday, comes to the organization after four seasons of Hockey East action at U. Mass-Lowell. In 2015-16, the 6-1, 184-pound native of Oxford, MI finished second among River Hawk skaters in goals and third in points, with 16-19-35, along with 57 penalty minutes, in 39 games.

In 148 career contests with U. Mass-Lowell, the 24-year-old Chapie amassed 46 goals and 49 assists for 95 points, plus 105 PIM.

The Wolf Pack are back in action tonight at home, hosting the Portland Pirates in a 7:00 PM game. Tickets for all remaining 2015-16 Wolf Pack home games are on sale now at the Agera Energy Ticket Office at the XL Center, on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499. Tickets purchased in advance for kids 12 or younger have been reduced to $10 this season, and all tickets will have a $2 day-of-game increase.
