St. John's IceCaps News Release
ST. JOHN'S - Despite dominating the shot clock the St. John's IceCaps fell 4-0 to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Saturday at Mile One Centre.
Phantoms goaltender Martin Ouellette was unbeatable on this night for his second straight first star performance, stopping all 31 shots he faced. St. John's outshot Lehigh Valley 31-23 overall.
The loss was the fourth straight for the IceCaps, who were officially eliminated from playoff contention on Friday after victories by Utica and Portland.
The IceCaps continue their season-ending home stand next Saturday and Sunday when they host the Utica Comets. Tickets are available and can be purchased at the Mile One box office in-person or online at www.mileonecentre.com.
