Dakota Wizards News Release
BISMARCK, ND, January 19, 2010 - The Dakota Wizards announced today that the start time of their Sunday afternoon game against the Tulsa 66ers has been moved to 12:00pm Central Time. The move is the result of a time conflict with the NFL's NFC Championship game between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints.
"We know how much everyone in the area loves both the Wizards and the Vikings, and we didn't want to have to make them choose between the two," said Wizards General Manager Terri Benson-Holmstrom. "We're encouraging everyone attending Sunday's game to wear purple to show their support for both of the teams."
