
BayHawks Team With PA Careerlink For Job Fair

ERIE - The NBA Development League Erie BayHawks will team with the Erie office of Pennsylvania Careerlink to offer a healthcare job fair during the BayHawks game, January 27 at the Tullio Arena.
Healthcare job seekers and those interested in pursuing careers in healthcare related fields will have the opportunity to visit with local healthcare providers and educational institutions to learn more about jobs and career opportunities.
The career fair will take place in the Tullio Arena SkyBox Suites before and during the BayHawks game. Those interested in attending the event can receive free tickets to the game and passes to the job fair by contacting the Pennsylvania Careerlink office by calling 871-4321 or visiting the office at 1309 French Street. Tickets are limited.
"Part of the mission of the BayHawks and the NBA Development League is to make a difference in our community," said BayHawks president Matt Bresee. "Given our relationship with LECOM, we felt this job fair was a great opportunity to help local people to find either a new career path or continue to grow their current one."
"As the healthcare field continues to grow and evolve, there is always a need for good people to fill careers," said Erika Ramalho, site administrator for PA Careerlink Erie. "We are excited to team with the BayHawks to offer this unique, fun job fair environment for healthcare career seekers."
Job Fair participants include: Bayada Nurses, The Barber Center, Hamot Hospital, CRI, St. Vincent Hospital and Erie Business Center.
The game will also be an Erie BayHawks, Smith's Hot Dogs One Buck Wednesday, with one dollar Smith's HotDogs, beer, popcorn and pop. Tickets start at just $5.
