Winterhawks Acquire Draft Pick from Kootenay Ice in Exchange for Two Players

The Portland Winterhawks have acquired a seventh round pick in the 2016 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft in exchange for Austin Gray and the rights to Reed Morison.

Gray appeared in two games for the Hawks this season, and had one assist in five games with Portland in 2014-15. Morison played in a total of seven games with the Winterhawks in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons. He currently plays for the Calgary Canucks of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
