
Royals Beat Rockets 5-1 to Earn Split in Victoria

The Victoria Royals defeated the Kelowna Rockets 5-1 on Saturday night in Victoria, earning a split of two weekend games between the WHL BC Division rivals.
The Royals opened up a 4-0 lead on Kelowna before Cole Linaker scored the lone Rockets goal early in the third period.
Victoria outshot the Rockets 27-15 with Michael Herringer suffering the loss in net.
The Rockets record falls to 19-6-1-0 on the season.
Kelowna returns home for three games this week, playing Kootenay on Wednesday night at Prospera Place before hosting Medicine Hat and Portland on Frday and Saturday.
