Winston-Salem Dash Announce Roster Moves

Winston-Salem Dash News Release
The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- RHP Tyler Danish activated from seven-day disabled list
- RHP Frank Montas placed on seven-day disabled list (retroactive to 6/29)
- INF Tim Anderson placed on seven-day disabled list (retroactive to 6/29)
- INF Cleuluis Rondon promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis
Danish, who has only pitched once since June 9, owns a 4-1 record and a 2.70 earned run average in his 13 starts between Low-A Kannapolis and Winston-Salem. The White Sox second-round pick last year, Danish will start tonight's game at Myrtle Beach.
Montas had briefly qualified for the Carolina League's ERA lead thanks to his 1.60 mark in 10 starts with the Dash. As a result of his injury, Montas will not participate in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game next weekend.
Through Tuesday's action, Anderson is eighth in the Carolina League with a .297 batting average to go along with six homers, 31 RBIs, 48 runs and 10 stolen bases. This marks Anderson's second stint on the disabled list.
Rondon, whom the White Sox acquired via the Jake Peavy trade with Boston a year ago, hit .233 with 16 RBIs and 35 runs scored in 77 games at shortstop for Low-A Kannapolis.
With these moves, Winston-Salem's roster stands at 25, which is the Carolina League limit.
