Worcester, MA -- The Worcester Tornadoes will be holding "Win a Webkinz Night," sponsored by The Paper Store, during the Wednesday, July 16 game at 7:05 pm against the Brockton Rox.
This night promises to be a huge event for any parents of kids between the ages of 6 and 11. The Paper Store and the Worcester Tornadoes will be raffling off several hundred Webkinz to kids at the ballgame on Wednesday, July 16. Winners of the raffle will be drawn at random. According to the official Webkinz website, www.webkinz.com, Webkinz are "lovable plush pets that each come with a unique Secret Code. With it, you enter Webkinz World where you care for your virtual pet, answer trivia, earn KinzCash, and play the best kids games on the net." Please note that Webkinz will not be distributed to every person who comes through the gate. In addition, the Paper Store will have a booth set up with a prize wheel for kids to spin and win extra prizes!
Tickets for the game are available in person by stopping by the Tornadoes box office at the ballpark or at the team office located at 303 Main St. in Worcester, by phone at 508-792-2288 or online by visiting www.worcestertornadoes.com.
The Tornadoes return home on Thursday, July 10 to conclude the first half with a 4-game series against the Nashua Pride. Thursday, June 10 will be a doubleheader starting at 6:05 p.m. Friday, July 11 will be the Tornadoes' third postgame fireworks show of the year. The series and first half concludes on Saturday, July 12, which will be "Going Green Night," sponsored by Waste Management and Sony.
