
Pride and Tornadoes Washed Out

(Nashua, N.H., July 9, 2008) The Nashua Pride and Worcester Tornadoes game on Wednesday night was suspended after three innings with the score tied at two.
The two teams will now begin a five game series in four days to close out the first half of the Can-Am League season, beginning with a pair of double headers on Thursday and Friday nights at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field in Worcester, Mass. Both double headers are tentatively scheduled to begin at 6:05pm.
Nashua is scheduled to send Hideki Nagasaka (5-1) to the mound for the first game of the 7-inning double header, followed by Jason Paul (0-1) in the night cap. The Tornadoes are scheduled to counter with Tom Cochran (7-0) in the first game and Shaun McNamara in game two.
The Nashua Pride Professional Baseball Club, entering its 11th season, provides a fun, affordable, community-based and fan-friendly source of sports entertainment. The 2007 Can-Am League Champions will be participating in its third year of play in the Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball.
