Along with being a key contributor to the Jackals' 2019 championship run, the Can-Am League's merging with the Frontier League brings Chirino back to the circuit where he owns the all-time hits record with 726. September 15, 2019 - The New Jersey Jackals won their first ever Can-Am League championship as they defeated Sussex County in game four of the title series by the score of 8-7. New Jersey had an 8-2 lead through 3 1/2 innings of play before having to hold off a furious rally by the Miners to claim the championship. Jackals Take 2-1 Series Lead with Shutout of Miners

September 14, 2019 - New Jersey starting pitcher Justin Brantley and two relievers combined on a six-hit shutout as the Jackals defeated Sussex County, 2-0, in game three of the Can-Am League Championship Series. Brantley was terrific tonight as he tossed six solid innings allowing two hits and four walks while fanning seven batters.
