Boucher Confirms Return to Champions in 2018

February 20, 2018 - OTTAWA - The Ottawa Champions will have their hitting coach and offensive catalyst back for another season in 2018. OF SEBASTIEN BOUCHER has agreed to terms on a new contract to have him don a Champions uniform and lead Ottawa's bats for yet another season, after he enjoyed a consistent campaign in 2017. RHP JAKE HALE, a native of Athens, Ohio, has signed a contract to become the Champions pitching coach. February 12, 2018 - BASEBALL Can-Am League: The Can-Am baseball league announced a national team from the Dominican Republic and the Salina (KS) Stockade baseball team, which is owned and operated by the Pecos League, have been added as travel teams to the 2018 schedule. Both teams will play a three- or four-game series against each of the league's six regular full-schedule teams during the month of June.
