Welcome the Cedar Rapids Kernels home this Friday! They have been gone for an eight-game road trip and will come home to take on the Burlington Bees. This four-game series against the Bees runs Friday, June 2nd - Monday, June 5th.
Three lucky fans will go home with a "new" used car from Pat McGrath Chevyland on Friday. Must be 18 or older and be present to win. The Kernels welcome Arthur School, Trinity Lutheran, and Lion's Club Screenings to the ballpark. The game will start at 7:00pm with gates opening at 6:00pm.
Alliant Energy brings you another .reworks extravaganza this Saturday. The Kernels welcome the town of Anamosa to the ballpark. The game starts at 7:00pm with gates opening at 6:00pm.
The wildest, craziest show in sports, Birdzerk is here Sunday and will be performing throughout the game, sponsored by KCRG TV9, The Zone ESPN 1600 AM and The Gazette. The .rst 1,000 fans through the gates will get a free set of Kernels baseball cards compliments of Perfect Game USA. Also, Sunday is KDAT Family Fun Day and The American Heart Association/St. Luke's Family Fitness Day. Enjoy $1 popcorn all game and meet the Kernels before the game to get autographs then after the game go on the .eld to run the bases and play catch. The game starts at 2 pm with gates opening at 1:00pm.
A buck will get you your favorite ballpark food this Monday when WMT AM 600 brings you Dollar Dog Monday! Get regular size hot dogs for just $1 all evening.
