The Westchester Knicks beat the Canton Charge, 106-95, at the Memorial Civic Center on Wednesday night. Westchester was paced by Isaiah Hicks's game-high 27 points with nine rebounds in 37 minutes. Luke Kornet posted a double-double of 17 points and 17 rebounds with five blocks in 33 minutes. John Jenkins poured in 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting in 35 minutes. They will look to improve upon its only win streak of the season Friday at Erie.

QUICK HITS

The Knicks current two-game win streak is its only streak this season.

Luke Kornet averaged a then second-best 23.0 points per game against Erie last season.

Westchester went 1-2 against Erie in last season's series.

Friday's game is the first of a two-day turnaround between the two clubs when they face each other again Sunday at the Westchester County Center.

After tonight, the Knicks' embark on a five-game homestand.

John Jenkins is the leading the team in scoring with 29.8 points per game.

Luke Kornet is leading the team in rebounds with 11.8 rebounds per game.

ON ASSIGNMENT

The New York Knicks announced November 5 that it has assigned center Luke Kornet to the Westchester Knicks.

Through 36 games played with Westchester last season, Kornet averaged 16.1 points per game on 48.9-percent shooting and 6.2 rebounds per game. For New York this season, Kornet has appeared in four contests.

John Jenkins leads the pack with 32.5 points per game in Westchester's last five. The returning player has played in four of the Knicks' last five contests shooting 57.7-percent from the field. The guard is also knocking down 53.1-percent of his triples in the span.

HIGH OCTANE OFFENSE

Erie puts 116.6 points on the board per game while allowing 119.8. Westchester scores 107.7 points per game and has only ?-scored more than what Erie allows once. The Knicks scored 125 points against Lakeland on November 10 in a victory.

Isaiah Hicks has grabbed a team-leading 20 offensive boards, 3.3 per game. His 9.3 rebounds averaged this season are second on the team.
