Dan Gravatt's bases-loaded single in the bottom of the 14th inning drove home the winning run for West Virginia in a 5-4 victory over the Lexington Legends Thursday night in Charleston.

West Virginia's Rogelio Noris hit a two-out, two-strike home run in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game.

West Virginia won three of four in the series. All the games were decided by one run, and three went into extra innings.

The Power took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning on a triple by Cole White and a single by Chase Lyles, but the Legends responded with three runs in the third after two outs. Ben Orloff and Delino DeShields singled, putting runners at first and third. DeShields stole second, and when second baseman Kevin Mort mishandled the throw to second for an error, Orloff scored. Enrique Hernandez doubled, scoring DeShields. Hernandez advanced to third on a wild pitch, and after Mike Kvasnicka walked, Telvin Nash singled, scoring Hernandez and giving the Legends a 3-1 lead.

The Power tied the game in the bottom of the third on a double by Drew Maggi and a two-run homer by Mel Rojas, Jr.

The score remained 3-3 until the top of the eighth. With one out, Nash singled, and after Tyler Burnett flied out to right field, Nash stole second and then scored on Emilio King's single.

Noris' homer in the bottom of the ninth sent the game to extra innings.

Porfirio Lopez (1-1) entered the game in the 12th inning and got the win. Gabriel Garcia (1-2), who entered in the 10th, allowed three hits over four and one-third innings but took the loss.

The Legends' road trip will continue with a three-game series in Hagerstown. Game time Friday is 7:05 p.m.
