The West Virginia Power's game with the Hagerstown Suns Wednesday evening at Appalachian Power Park was suspended due to rain. The game was halted with one out in the bottom of the second inning due and the Power leading 7-1.

Jameson Tallion made his professional debut tonight for West Virginia. Tallion, the Pittsburgh Pirates first round selection in the 2010 draft, pitched two innings, but will not factor in the decision when the game becomes final.

West Virginia and Hagerstown will resume play of this game on Thursday at 6:05 pm and will complete this game to a full nine innings. The Power and Suns will play the regularly schedule game 30 minutes after the first contest concludes, but will only play seven innings in the nightcap. The gates at Appalachian Power Park will open at 3 pm and fans are encouraged to come watch both West Virginia and Hagerstown take batting practice.
