Sarnia Sting News Release
The Sting earned 5 of a possible 6 points on the weekend, picking up road wins in Saginaw on Saturday night and Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday afternoon.
Newcomer, Travis Konecny made an immediate impact following Thursday's trade, tallying a hat-trick in his first game as a member of the Sarnia Sting. Konecny also notched the shootout winner on Saturday night in Saginaw.
The Sting return to the SSEC this Friday night as they play host to the visiting Oshawa Generals. This will be the first time Matt Mistele has faced off against his former club since joining the Sting at the start of December.
