Petes Trade in Skates for Sleighs on Monday Night

(Peterborough, ON) - Fans of both the Petes and Kawartha Blazers sledge hockey team are encouraged to visit the Evinrude Centre on Monday, January 11 from 6pm to 8pm to witness Petes players participating in their annual sledge hockey showdown fundraiser.

During the event, the Petes and Blazers will play a game from 6:15-7:15pm, which will be followed by a free autograph session and photo opportunity from 7:30-8pm. Throughout the evening, fans can participate in a fundraising raffle with prizes including four tickets to a Toronto Maple Leafs game, four tickets to a Toronto Marlies game, and two tickets to a Petes game.

Eight Petes players and one goalie will participate in the event alongside the Blazers, including Brandon Prophet, Nick Grima, Eric Cornel, C.J. Clarke, Steve Lorentz, Daniel Nikandrov, Hunter Garlent, Logan DeNoble and Dylan Wells.

This Thursday at 7:05pm at the PMC, the Petes will get back on their skates as the Flint Firebirds make their first visit in franchise history. Tickets are still available here, by calling (705) 743-3561, or by visiting the Collins Barrow Box Office in person.
