Wednesday's RedHawks Game Postponed

May 29, 2013 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Oklahoma City Comets News Release

Oklahoma City - Wednesday's Oklahoma City RedHawks game against the Omaha Storm Chasers has been postponed due to wet field conditions.

Heavy rain fell at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark Wednesday prior to the game's scheduled start time, and despite the best efforts of the grounds crew to prep the field, wet field conditions forced the postponement.

The Pacific Coast League teams will make up the game Sunday, June 23 during the Storm Chasers next series in Oklahoma City. The teams will play a double-header, consisting of two seven-inning games starting at 3:30 p.m.

Fans with tickets to Wednesday's game will be able to redeem their ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining game of the RedHawks 2013 season, based upon availability. Fans must redeem their tickets in person at the RedHawks ticket office at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday on game days two hours prior to the start of the game. For any questions, please call the RedHawks front office at 405-218-1000.

The RedHawks' homestand against Omaha continues with a 7:05 p.m. game Thursday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Tickets are available through the box office on S. Mickey Mantle Drive, by calling (405) 218-1000, or ordering through okcredhawks.com. Live coverage begins at 6:35 p.m. on AM 1340 "The Game," 1340thegame.com, or through the free IHeartRadio mobile app.
