
Warriors and Rockets Complete Sunday Trade

Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Alan Millar has announced that the team has acquired 20-year-old forward Kobe Mohr, the rights to 19-year-old goalie James Porter, 18-year-old forward Kyle Crosbie, and a 3rd round pick in 2022 in exchange for 20-year-old forward Jadon Joseph.
"We are pleased to add Kobe, James, and Kyle to our hockey club.ÃÂ Kobe is a veteran player who brings leadership, experience, and a solid, complete game to our team.ÃÂ James is an experienced WHL goaltender who gives us good depth.ÃÂ Kyle is a young, skilled player who has good upside and should benefit from this new opportunity," commented General Manager Alan Millar.
"This deal keeps our hockey club competitive this season while also benefiting our team in the future.ÃÂ The additions of Mohr and Crosbie gives us added depth up front and Porter adds good depth.ÃÂ The deal gives us important experience, a good young player, and an important future 3rd round draft pick," added Millar.ÃÂ "We would like to thank Jadon for his time with our hockey club and wish him the best in his career ahead."
Mohr (LW), 5'11", 175lbs, is from Lloydminster, Alberta and has two goals and seven points through 15 games this season.ÃÂ Mohr was originally drafted by Edmonton in the 1st round of the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft, he's gone on to play 257 games in the WHL and has 34 goals and 99 points.
Porter, 5'11", 175lbs, is from Bonners Ferry, Idaho and in 30 games last season with the Rockets he posted a record of 8-13-3-1 with a 3.32gaa and an .899sv%.ÃÂ Porter is currently with the Vernon Vipers (BCHL) and in three games has a 2.38gaa and a .919sv%.
Crosbie (RC), 5'9", 170lbs, is from Didsbury, Alberta.ÃÂ In 12 games this season with the Rockets he has one goal and three points.ÃÂ Last season in 63 games in Kelowna he had seven goals and 11 points.ÃÂ Crosbie played his 16-year-old season (2017-2018) with the Edge School for Athletes (CSSHL), where he had 14 goals and 33 points in 35 games.
The Warriors acquired Joseph from the Vancouver Giants on September 14th for a 3rd round pick (2020) and a conditional 5th (2022).ÃÂ In 21 games this season, Joseph has seven goals and 13 points.
