Walleye Sign Adam Keefe, David Phillips Recalled To Rockford

(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced the signing of forward Adam Keefe to a contract. In an unrelated move, defenseman David Phillips has been re-called by the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL. Head Coach Nick Vitucci also announced that Keefe will be placed on injured reserve indefinitely.

The native of Brampton, Ontario has appeared in 176 games between three teams in the American Hockey League during his four years as a professional. Adam did play part of one season in Toledo (28 games in 2005-06), in which he scored 11 goals, added 10 assists, and collected 174 penalty minutes. Keefe has collected 977 penalty minutes over his pro career, after 975 penalty minutes during his time in the Ontario Hockey League.

Phillips appeared in 6 games with Toledo, in which he collected one goal with one assist. David has skated in 21 games this year with Rockford, collecting one assist.
