Wallace And Moon Combine For 48 In Clips Loss To Squadron

Birmingham, AL - The Agua Caliente Clippers (7-3) lose a tight game to the Birmingham Squadron (5-5), 107-102, on Monday night.

Agua Caliente's backcourt combined for 48 in the loss, led by Xavier Moon's game-high 26 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Keaton Wallace added 22 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Zylan Cheatham (18 points, 10 rebounds) and Jared Harper (21 points, 10 assists) each recorded double-doubles for the Birmingham.

After trailing by as much as 13 in the third quarter, the Clippers fought their way back and tied the game at 85 halfway through the final frame. However, they couldn't take the lead and the Squadron held on the rest of the way.

Next up, Agua Caliente travels to Sioux Falls on Thursday, February 3rd, for stop number two in the seven-game road trip. The showdown with the Sioux Falls Skyforce tips off at 4:30 p.m. PT inside the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
