ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, are pleased to announce that all 2,000 Pack the Den Night upper bowl tickets have been distributed. The tickets were made available courtesy of Walgreens and Beso Del Sol Sangria.
The current Solar Bears single-game attendance record is 9,555, set on Opening Night (Oct. 20) of the 2012-13 Out of Hibernation season. Fans can still purchase lower bowl tickets for Saturday's game - when the Solar Bears take on the Adirondack Thunder on Saturday, Mar. 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Amway Center - by clicking here.
Earlier in the day the Orlando Solar Bears will host their fourth annual Solar Bears Celebrity Classic hockey game at 3:30 p.m. That evening's ECHL contest is part of Military Appreciation Weekend, presented by Full Sail University. During the game the Solar Bears will wear their Patriotic Jerseys against the Thunder and more than 250 military members from Patrick Air Force Base will be in attendance as guests of the Solar Bears. Furthermore, the Solar Bears are hosting India Family Fun Night, presented by the Indian American Chamber of Commerce.
"At the current pace, we expect to see 11,000 to 12,000 attend Saturday night's game," Solar Bears President/CEO Jason Siegel said "We'd be ecstatic if we reach 14,000, which would put us in the Top 10 all-time in ECHL history for regular season single-game attendance."
The Solar Bears continue their fourth season in the ECHL, presented by Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A., when they host the Adirondack Thunder for the first time at the Amway Center on Thursday, Mar. 17 at 7:00 p.m.
Single-game tickets for the 2015-16 season are on sale now and can be purchased for as little as $15 at the Amway Center Box Office or online at OrlandoSolarBearsHockey.com or Ticketmaster.com.
