March 17, 2016 - ECHL (ECHL)
Indy Fuel News Release

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel took 47 shots on goal Thursday night but Jeff Lerg made 45 saves in a 6-2 Toledo Walleye win at Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

Trailing 3-0 in the second period the Fuel would finally break through at 13:13 when Ben Marshall scored his ninth of the year from Peter Schneider and Kevin Clare. Marshall eclipsed the 30-point total with that goal and leads all ECHL rookie defensemen in scoring.

Toledo would stretch the lead to 5-1 before the Fuel scored again, this time on Zach Miskovic's power play goal at 11:54 from Dylan Clarke and Rhett Bly.

Kyle Bonis and Josh Shalla would both finish with two goals in the winning effort for the Walleye.

Next up for Indy is the Brampton Beast at 7:35 pm on Saturday night. The Morellis Cleaners Indy Fuel pregame show starts 15 minutes prior to puck drop for the webcast on CBSSports1430.com and via the TuneIn Radio app.
