
Ryan Martindale Recalled by AHL Syracuse

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced Thursday that center Ryan Martindale has been recalled by the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.
Martindale, 24, returns to Syracuse where he has recorded three assists in 12 games with the Crunch this season. In addition, Martindale has posted 19 points (7g, 12a) in 25 appearances with the Everblades.
Last season, Martindale registered 14 points (8g, 6a) in 19 games with the Crunch and 13 points (8g, 5a) in 45 appearances with the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). The 6-3, 207-pound center has totaled a balanced 67 points (30g, 37a) in 180 career AHL games, while logging 17 points (9g, 8a) in 39 ECHL contests with the Stockton Thunder from 2011-2012. The Oshawa, Ontario native was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the third round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Martindale signed an AHL contract with Syracuse earlier this month.
The Florida Everblades return to the ice on Friday night when they will travel to the North Charleston Coliseum to take on the South Carolina Stingrays in a matchup of the top two teams in the South Division. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Eastern time. Fans can catch the game broadcast on 770 AM or online.

It's a hockey double-header as local police and fire fighters battle it out on the ice at 5:15 p.m. Then at 7:00 p.m. the Everblades will wear special Guns N' Hoses themed jerseys which will be auctioned off following the game. A ticket to the Everblades game gets you into the Guns N' Hoses game for free. Pregame tailgate party featuring live music, bounce houses and face painting begins at 5:00 p.m.
