MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Rich Seeley, announced that former Merrimack College senior defenseman, Craig Wyszomirski, has signed and Amateur Try-out Agreement and forwards Ryan Patsch and Kyle Smith have been released.

Wyszomirski, 23, played collegiately for Merrimack College, appearing in 74 career games for the Warriors over the course of three seasons, scoring five points on two goals and three assists. In his final season on campus, Wyszomirski played in 26 games for Merrimack, splitting time between forward and defense.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound native of Mahwah, N.J. began his collegiate career at Providence College before transferring following his freshman season. After leaving Providence, Wyszomirski played 54 games with the Surrey Eagles (BCHL), scoring 36 points on eight goals and 28 assists, before heading to Merrimack.

Patsch, 24, played in seven games for the Monarchs and scored two points on one goal and one assist. Patsch recorded his first ECHL goal Feb. 26 in Norfolk and his first ECHL assist in a 3-1 victory over the Elmira Jackals on Mar. 13.

The 6-foot, 195-pound native of Philadelphia, PA has split time between the ECHL and the FHL this season, playing four games with the Jackals earlier this season. In the FHL, Patsch played in 35 games with the Danbury Titans and scored 54 points on 20 goals and 34 assists.

Smith, 24, played in three games for the Monarchs after joining the team Mar. 11 after his season with the University of New Hampshire Wildcats ended. Smith recorded his first professional goal Mar. 13 in the 3-1 win over Elmira.

Wyszomirski and the Monarchs are back in action Friday night (7:05 p.m.), when they visit the Elmira Jackals at First Arena.
