Monarchs Announce Roster Move

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Rich Seeley, announced that goaltender, Michael Houser, has been recalled from loan by the Ontario Reign (AHL).

Houser, 23, played in 16 games for the Monarchs this season, posting a 10-4-2 record, a 2.68 GAA and a 0.912 save percentage. Houser receives his second recall by the Reign this season, and with Ontario, Houser has played in four games with a 1-3-0 record, a 2.56 GAA and a 0.880 save percentage.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound goaltender split time between the ECHL and AHL since the 2013-14 season, playing with the Cincinnati Cyclones and Monarchs in the ECHL, and the San Antonio Rampage and Reign in the AHL. In his career, Houser has played in 69 AHL games, posting a 32-25-5 record.

The Monarchs are back in action Friday, Mar. 18 (7:05 p.m.), when they take on the Elmira Jackals at First Arena.
