U.S. Senator To Drop Puck In Glens Falls Friday

ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats announced today full details for the club's activities surrounding their final regular season game at the Glens Falls Civic Center tomorrow evening against the Worcester Sharks at 7:30 p.m. New York State Senator Charles E. Schumer will join the festivities by participating with Mayor Jack Diamond in a ceremonial puck drop prior to the game.

The New York Lottery will provide the first 500 fans through the doors with buy one, get one free Lotto game tickets and fans will have the chance to meet draw personality Jina Matthews. The game marks the fourth time that the River Rats will have played at the Glens Falls Civic Center during the 2008-09 campaign with the club putting together a perfect 3-0 mark to date.

The River Rats host the Worcester Sharks on Friday, April 3rd at 7:30 pm at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Albany's next home game at the Times Union Center is set for Wednesday, April 8th at 7:00 pm against the Philadelphia Phantoms.
