Montreal Recalls Marc Denis From Hamilton

MONTREAL, QC - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that goaltender Marc Denis has been recalled from the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.
Denis, 31, has a record of 25-18-0 in 44 games with the Bulldogs this season along with a 2.48 goals-against average, a .920 save percentage and five shutouts. The 6-foot, 190-pound goaltender played 20 minutes with Montreal on January 2nd, 2009 making six saves on seven shots. The native of Montreal, Quebec was the Colorado Avalanche's 1st round, 25th overall selection in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft.
The Hamilton Bulldogs return to Copps Coliseum on Friday, April 3rd for a 7:30 p.m. game with the Grand Rapids Griffins. The game will be broadcast LIVE on Cable 14.
