HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros host the Iowa Chops tonight on Chilly's Pet Pals Night starting at 7:05 p.m. The Aeros will donate a portion of tickets sold for the event to the Houston Humane Society (HHS) who will have a mobile pet adoption onsite. Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to enjoy the hockey game by calling Laura at (713) 361-9747 for tickets to benefit HHS.

The night will have a number of activities based around our four legged friends. Bark Busters will be outside the main entrance from 5:30-6:30 p.m. giving a training demonstration. The Aeros will also have a special guest at the game. Stump, a Sussex Spaniel, was winner of the coveted Best In Show Prize at the 133rd Annual Westminster Kennel Club show this past February. He will join Flash and Burnie from Houston Humane Society who will drop the first puck.

The Aeros are currently tied for second in the West Division with 84 points but have a game in hand over Peoria. Houston is seven points ahead of Iowa who is on the outside looking in on the playoff picture. The Chops have allowed the Aeros a 6-1-0 record heading into the final game of the season series. Call (713) 974-PUCK for tickets to the game and be sure to ask about Houston Humane Society tickets to help support their cause.
