PEORIA, Ill. (April 2, 2009) - The Peoria Rivermen announced today that the club has relaunched their website (www.rivermen.net). Designed by InfinityProSports, the site features a fresh design as well as new features to enhance each fan's online experience.
"So much of our fans information is provided by our website and we are extremely happy to be able to enhance that experience," said Rivermen COO Josh Morin. "Whether it is news, statistics or ticketing information the new Rivermen.net makes everything easy to find and gives us the ability to entertain visitors at the same time.
The new home page features larger pictures, expanded news section, an interactive fan poll as well as easy access to up-to-date team statistics and standings. The new Media Center allows for more video and audio features along with links to watch or listen to all Rivermen games live through WHPI and AHLLive.com. The Blues News tab gives fans the abilities to stay informed on all of the latest St. Louis Blues headlines without ever leaving Rivermen.net.
The Rivermen return to action on Friday night when they welcome the Houston Aeros to Carver Arena at 7 p.m. It is History of Hockey Night with the Rivermen wearing special Peoria Blades jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game.
