Albany River Rats News Release

ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats announced today that the Salvation Army and Getty will present Game Three of the Time Warner Cable Cup when the River Rats host the Adirondack Phantoms on Saturday, November 7th at 7:00 p.m.

"The River Rats are proud to be partnering with The Salvation Army during the holiday season," said Vice President of Ticket Sales, Steven Beno. "The Salvation Army will be ringing their bells and will have Holiday Kettles set up at every entrance of the Times Union Center during the months of November and December, so we encourage our fans to bring canned food items for 'The Salvation Army Holiday Canned Food Drive' on Saturday and to continue their stellar record of support throughout the Holiday Season."

Saturday's contest will also feature the release of a limited edition "Getty Greats" trading card set. The first 3,500 fans in attendance will receive three collectible trading cards from a nine card set of historic River Rats. Those lucky fans will also receive a special voucher for the set's remaining six cards, redeemable at participating Getty locations throughout the Capital District with no purchase necessary.

Any Time Warner Cable customers who bring their bill to the Times Union Center box office are entitled to discounted tickets for the rivalry game ($13.00 for adults, $9.00 for children).

The Salvation Army is celebrating its 125th year in Albany County. Please assist those in need by becoming a volunteer, corporate sponsor, or by making a donation to any of its great causes.

Season and flexible ticket packages for the 2009-10 season are now on sale at the River Rats executive offices at the Times Union Center, by calling (518) 487-2244 or by logging onto www.albanyriverrats.com.
