November 3, 2009 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI-Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that the team will offer all veterans and active military personnel a free Stern & Bow Ticket for the team's game versus the Peoria Rivermen on Friday, November 6 at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center. This is the fifth consecutive season that the team has made such an offer in conjunction with Veteran's Day.

In order to receive their ticket veterans should bring their military ID, American Legion or VFW Card, or a copy of the DD214 form to the Admirals office during regular business hours or to the Bradley Center Box office prior to the game. There is a limit of one ticket per veteran.

Ermin Humpal, a veteran of World War II and the Korean War who was on duty at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese attacked the naval base, will drop the ceremonial first puck prior to the game.

"We are again pleased to be able to make this offer to the people who have bravely served our country," said Greenberg. "A ticket to one of our games is a small token of our appreciation for the sacrifices these fine people have made."

The Admirals are also proud to be a sponsor of the 2009 Milwaukee Veteran's Day Parade that will take place on Saturday morning November 7 in downtown Milwaukee.

The Admirals are back in action on Wednesday, November 4 at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center against the Chicago Wolves. Tickets for Wednesday's game can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Groups of ten or more can receive $2 off the face value of each ticket by calling the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
