Utah Grizzlies News Release
Eight-Game Trip
The Grizzlies went 2-1 last weekend through Idaho as they began a season-long eight-game road trip and continue 14 of 18 games on the road to start the year. It was the first time in six seasons that Utah has taken four of six points at Qwest Arena in a series.
Another Strong October
At 4-2-1-0 in October, the Grizzlies capped off their third-straight winning October under Kevin Colley who has led the Grizzlies strong out of the gate in each of his first three seasons.

The Grizzlies are off to another strong start on the road at 3-1-1-0 in their first five games. Last year they started 5-0 away from Utah after going 3-1 to start the road schedule in 2008-2009.
Next Up
The Grizzlies now meet the Las Vegas Wranglers for the first time since eliminating them in the first round of the 2010 ECHL playoffs. Utah won game five of the best-of-five series 5-1 on April 13, 2010. Overall, Utah went 13-6 against the Wranglers in 2009-2010.
Engelage Steps In
Six-foot-five Andrew Engelage handled all three games in goal this past week following the departure of J.P. Lamoureux to the AHL's Abbotsford Heat. Engelage started the year well, at one point stopping 61 of 62 shots in Boise. He currently ranks fourth in the ECHL with a .930 save percentage to go along with his 2-1 record.
Rookies Get Going
Rookie's Tyler Ruegsegger (two goals), Marcus Carroll (one goal, two assists), Chris Donovan (two assists) and Kevin Deeth (one goal, one assist) topped Utah in scoring this past weekend. Ruegsegger and Deeth scored their first pro goals Wednesday in their first pro games.
Among League Leaders
Chris Donovan is tied for third among rookies in scoring with one goal and five assists. Jake Gannon has one goal and four assists and is tied for third among defenseman.
