
Thunder Thunder Launches Redesigned Official Website

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, a two-time recipient of the ECHL "Award of Excellence," has relaunched the official team website, www.StocktonThunder.com, Thunder president Dan Chapman announced today.
The redesigned website offers a fresh, clean look complete with enhanced access for promotion, multimedia and home game ticket options and newly integrated access for Thunder Season Ticket Holders to exclusive news, player and broadcaster blogs, game night VIP offers and more.
"Unveiling a new website is more than just an event for us, it's a unique presentation at how our on-ice and entertainment product continues to evolve," said Chapman. "We're proud to hit a new landmark today with unveiling a new website that caters to the tastes of our fans, casual visitors and corporate partners. There will be many chances to take advantage of updated and brand new features that enhance the one-of-a-kind experience of Thunder hockey."
Upcoming game night promotions, giveaways, jersey auctions and updated special ticket offers are featured with easy access on the website's front page, offering faster access to discounts on the Thunder game night experience throughout the hockey season and during the summer months.
The Thunder website presents improved news feed and social media sharing options, improving website content accessibility through RSS feeds, Facebook and Twitter platforms. ThunderVision, the official web video content channel of the Thunder, further integrates its YouTube platform with one-click access on the official website's front page to game highlights, exclusive interviews and special features.
One-click access to Thunder merchandise at the "Fan Attic," is also prominently offered at the top of the website.
Thunder Season Ticket Holders who carried subscriptions to the Thunder "Insider," now have direct login access to exclusive game day reports and feature content through the website's front page, also enhanced by new "message forum" style comments on all news released through StocktonThunder.com.
The Thunder official website, www.StocktonThunder.com was redesigned and is administered by Thunder internet marketing manager Donnie Conner and is maintained by the Thunder marketing and communications department.
A proud affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League and the Oklahoma City Barons and Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League, the Thunder was voted "Best Local Sports Team" by readers of the San Joaquin Magazine for the third straight year, led the ECHL in attendance for four consecutive seasons and drew over 200,000 fans for the fifth consecutive season in 2009-10.
