Traylen runner-up for ECHL Goaltender of the Week

TRENTON, NJ (December 20, 2005) - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that Trenton Titans goalie Dustin Traylen has been named a runner-up for ECHL Goaltender of the Week.

As the Titans went 2-1-0 last week, Traylen registered a 2-0-0 record with a 1.92 goals against average and a .944 save percentage during a weekend sweep of the Dayton Bombers. Traylen made 30 saves in a 2-1 win over the Bombers on Friday. The following night, the rookie goaltender turned away 37 of 40 shots through overtime and stopped an ECHL season-best 7-of-8 in the shootout to beat Dayton 4-3.

Traylen is now 5-2-0 this season with a 2.41 GAA and a .922 save percentage. Prior to his rookie year, the native of Kirkland, Quebec compiled a 30-37-8 record during three years of collegiate hockey at Clarkson University (2002-2005).
