Travis Leslie Named NBA D-League Player of the Month

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Santa Cruz Warriors guard Travis Leslie has been named NBA Development League Player of the Month for games played in Nov. and Dec. The honor, the first of the 2012-13 season, is also the first of Leslie's NBA D-League career.

Leslie (6-4, 205, Georgia) led Santa Cruz to an 8-2 record during Nov. and Dec., averaging 16.4 points while shooting 55 percent from the floor to go with 7.9 rebounds. He scored in double figures in all ten games, including two 20-plus point performances.

The NBA D-League also announced today that Leslie will compete in the Showcase slam dunk competition on Wednesday. For video of his top dunks this season, click here: http://bit.ly/VylXCw.

The Santa Cruz Warriors will play two games at the NBA D-League Showcase, one against the Austin Toros on Tuesday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m. PST and the other against the Canton Charge on Thursday, January 10 at 12:45 p.m. PST.
