
Tourists Stay Hot In Kentucky

Asheville Tourists News Release
(Lexington, KY) Kiel Roling and Michael Zuanich each hit homeruns on Saturday as Asheville opened up a four-game series form Lexington with a 6-2 victory. Dan Houston pitched five innings and allowed just two runs to earn his sixth win of the season. Asheville (52-57, 26-16) maintained at least a two game lead on the second place Augusta Greenjackets.
Kiel Roling put Asheville on the board with his 13th homerun of the season in the second inning. Roling has now homered in consecutive game. Lexington took a brief 2-1 lead in the bottom of the inning with a Steve Brown two-run homerun.
The Tourists came right back with a three-run third inning. Jordan Pacheco tripled in a run and Michael Zuanich drove a homerun off the top of the centerfield wall putting Asheville up 4-2. Zuanich finished with three hits while reaching base all four times to the plate.
Dan Houston (6-8) worked his way through five innings to pick up the win. Houston walked five and struck out four in his first outing in nearly over a week. Kurt Yakco and Michael Marbry provided the final four innings of scoreless relief.
The win is the fourth for Asheville in Lexington this season, Asheville will try to make it three consecutive wins on Sunday at 2:05 with Jonathan Aristil on the mound. All the action can be heard on 100.7 WRES FM or online at www.theashevilletourists.com
