Lake County Captains News Release
The Captains Return Home on August 10 for an Eight-Game Homestand Featuring Fireworks, 50-Cent Hot Dogs, and a Fleece Blanket Giveaway
The Lake County Captains, Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, return home for an eight-game homestand beginning Monday, August 10 at Classic Park. The Captains will take on the Single-A affiliates of the San Francisco Giants and the Atlanta Braves during the second-last homestand of the 2009 regular season.
Monday @ 7 PM is National City Buck Night: FEATURING 50-CENT HOT DOGS, $1 beer & soda and an expanded $1 food menu - plus $1 off of regular-priced adult game tickets
Tuesday & Wednesday @ 7 PM: Feed Your Face Nights: $6 all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, mini corn dogs, peanuts and popcorn!
Eat'n Park Win Big Wednesday: First 1,000 fans receive a scratch-off ticket and chance to win $500 cash and other great prizes
Thursday @ 7 PM is Thirsty Thursday: Half-price draft beer and fountain sodas served until 9:00 PM. Pre-game concert @ 6 PM featuring NICK ZUBER!
Friday @ 7 PM: Post-game FIREWORKS spectacular!
Saturday @ 7 PM: FIREWORKS & Fleece Blanket Giveaway (first 1,500 fans) presented by Lake Health. Saturday night will also be the first ever Skipper's Lil' Buddies Club Slumber Party. Kids who are part of Skipper's Lil' Buddies Club, presented by National City, will have the opportunity to join Skipper for a slumber party in the outfield! Sunday @ 1 PM is Plevin & Gallucci Family Fun Day: Pre-game autographs, concourse entertainment, in-game fun and post-game kids run the bases, presented by Andrews Osborne Academy. Sunday is also Stitch N' Pitch Day & Susan G. Komen for the Cure Day at Classic Park.
