Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Mathieu Curadeau has been returned from loan from the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League. Curadeau was then loaned to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL.
Third on the K-Wings in scoring with 13 points (9 goals, 4 assists), Curadeau currently shares second place honors in the ECHL for game-winning goals with three.
In his three games with the Sharks, Curadeau recorded one point, a goal in yesterdays contest versus the Norfolk Admirals, which proved to be the game-winner for Worcester.
The native of Montreal, Quebec is currently on a six-game ECHL point streak (10/31/09-present).
Curadeau return to the AHL marks the ninth time this season that a K-Wings player has been sent up to play in the AHL. The loan also signifies the first-time a K-Wings player has been sent up more than once.
Back in action on Wednesday, November 25th, Kalamazoo will begin a brief two-game road swing against the Cincinnati Cyclones with a 7:30 p.m. face-off from the U.S. Bank Arena.
