One of the biggest events of the season, Teddy Bear Toss, is just 5 days away! On Saturday, Nov. 28, fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear to the 7 p.m. game at Rabobank Arena and "let 'em loose" onto the ice following the first Condors goal. Last year, a capacity crowd of 8,929 launched 7,614 bears onto the ice. More than 52,000 stuffed animals have been donated in the history of the Condors Teddy Bear Toss. All teddy bears collected will be donated to the United Way to help the less fortunate in Kern County during the Holiday season. Saturday is also a Big Buddies Night, dedicated to providing underprivileged children the opportunity to attend a Condors game free of charge thanks to local donations. For info on how to donate Condors tickets through the Big Buddies, call 324-PUCK (7825).
